GHFC is easily the best health club in Gainesville. They have a great selection of cardio and strength training equipment, a good aerobics schedule, and excellent hours.

I am now wondering why they would call this place Gainesville Health & Fitness if they are non welcoming to the Gainesville residents. I had a Girlfriend in town who works for an athletic company who was sent here for the weekend to try out the different gyms in the area. GHF welcomed her into the facility because she was from out of town but would not would not allow me acess in because I was a Gainesville resident without a membership. First, I can not even begin to comprehend why she would be able to use the facility unlimited but when I went through the process of touring the place not given the opportunity to try the facility when I would be the one purchasing the membership. I found this place to be very unwelcoming to the Gainesville community.

Locals commonly abbreviate this gym as GHFC--Gainesville Health and Fitness Center. However, your visit may find yourself wondering if GHFC really stands for Gainesville Health and Fashion Club. Too crowded and overpriced.
