Best Sushi in Gainesville This is our favorite Friday night hang-out! "Ichiban" means "Number One" and the sushi here is the best in town. Their wasabi is most potent, so be ready! I like the grilled tuna bento box, which gets you rice, a tuna roll, salad (awesome ginger dressing!), and soup - a good value. Top it all off with red bean ice cream.

Good sushi option This place for the money is as good as Dragonfly. Not as "hip" but I don't want to pay for that. I wanted good sushi and this place gave it to me. We sat at the bar- the bartender/server was kind of forgetful, which is why I only gave it 4 stars, but the food made up for it.
