Gainesville offers plenty of music festivals and events, including the Downtown Festival Blues Concert, JazzFest, and the Florida Tionol (Irish Music). There’s also the “Let’s Go Downtown” Plaza Series every Friday. Musical productions are featured at the Curtis M Phillips Performing Arts Center and the University of Florida Baughman Center.

Among the casual venues for live entertainment, be sure to visit the High Springs Farmers Market and the Union Street Farmers Market, in addition to local foods and crafts. Restaurants with entertainment include the Braserie and the Sovereign.
