St. Patrick Interparish School Reviews

I moved my daughter to St Pat's from an elementary school where the students weren't the problem but the ACSB adminstrators was. Where they were relying on other students to mainstream fellow students. Apprently they didn't have the staff. What I was after was a fair and nicer place. St Pat's is that. But beyond a nicer place it has academics. By my estimate 50% of each grade scores in the top 10% nationally. By standardized scores my daughter has increased from the top 10% towards the top 2% on standardized test. And she has yet to be the top student in any class. 'It's hard with all these smart kids'. But more importan its a really nice place with great teacher who care. And for those of us not gifted with social butterfly's but nerd's, its wonderful.

NO other school compares. These kids test out in the top 10% in the nation, and are #1 in the NATION in Algebra. The teachers are loving and care about their student's success. Computers in every room, full tech lab, music, art, spanish, and p.e. as well as competitive athletics.

We love St. Pat's. My daughter really loves the teachers who make a strong effort to make sure all of the children are included and there is no bullying. There was one teacher who seemed to favor some students over others, but she is not there anymore. Sarah was not at the bottom of her class, but not at the top in reading. They suggested pulling her out to work with her ( and they have the AR system) but I took the advice of another mom and enrolled her in tutoring to not take away from core classes (Huntington for those interested) Another great thing-strong parent network. Great support system. I see us there for a long time.

My son currently attends St. Pat's and he loves it. My husband and I are very pleased with the educations he is receiving, as well as the good Catholic foundation they are providing him. Although it is costly, we believe the sacrifice is worth it. If you want your child to receive a sound academic foundation, a Christian based education, discipline and good study habits, St. Pat's is the place for you.

Our son just started at St. Pat's this year in PK3 and so far we have been impressed enough to enroll our older daughter at St. Pat's for next year. We plan on sending all three of our children to this school. Our son, the one in PK3, had been dependant, sensitive, and frequently whiny until he started school this year. Now, he is very independant, gets along very well with other kids, loves school and can't wait to get in there in the mornings. We already see the positive signs of a faith based education in him. He knows the sign of the cross and when to use it appropriately. He also uses his manners all the time without prompting now. He's still our goofy, mischevious little boy but St. Pat's has helped him learn a little self-control and respect for others.

My kids have been in the school for 9 years. We have seen many changes in this time but the education level has always been exellent. The parent involvement is great and you get to know and interact with the parents of your kids'classmates. Overall we have been always happy with the school and our kids love it, It will be sad to leave St Pats next year as our kids move on to High School.

I recently pulled both my children from this school. Although St. Pat's touts itself as a 'Catholic' environment, it was anything but that. There are some good teachers, but their arts, music, computer programs are woefully inadequate. Their sports programs are a joke. This is not a 'Catholic' environment by any stretch.

My children went here for 4 months before I pulled them out. My kids practically came home crying everyday about how bad it was. The teachers are horrible, you cant even call what they do after school 'sports' and the overall environment was poor. I would highly recommend that if you are looking for a private school to go to oak hall.

This is a great school. The principal leadership recently changed, but the new principal is adapting well. The teachers are great, generally loaded with enthusiasm and with a clear sense of Catholic identity.

My children went there for 2 years until we moved and we loved it. The teachers are great. The ratios were great. The education was great.

Great parent involvement! Wonderful arts classes (ie: computers, art, music) If you are looking for a Catholic education you can definatly find it at St. Pats. Which includes a wonderful pre-k program as well!

Wonderful private education based in the catholic faith. The tuition is expensive as well as the various fees for uniforms, school projects, afterschool programs etc. They are also not as equiped to handle any learning delays in children other than mild reading issues. So if money is not an issue nor any major learning problems with your child you couldn't go wrong sending them to St. Patricks which is a close knit community school with great programs/classes.

Great school! Children are nurtured and challenged. There is still room for improvement in areas like enrichement classes. Wonderful teachers and leadership. Exceptional parental involvement.

This is an awesome school. The kids are expected to be responsible and courteous. High academic standards are set. They have good teachers and nice extra-curricular activities.

St. Patrick Interparish Catholic School not only provides an excellent life education by their attention to my children's spiritual development, but one of the most challenging curricula in this area. The school is well run and maintained and I will continue to support it for many years to come.
