There’s lots of art in Gainesville from galleries and programs to festivals. They include McIntyre Stained Glass Studio, Gainesville Artisans Guild Gallery, McIntyre Stained Glass Studio & Art Gallery, Thornebrook Village Gallery, Possum Creek Arts & Crafts Festival, UF Holiday Crafts Fair, Winter Healing Arts Festival Downtown Festival & Art Show, Archer Cultural Arts Festival, Newberry Cultural Arts SuperFest, and the Fifth Avenue Arts Festival.

Art displays and exhibits can also be enjoyed at the “Art Walk” held downtown each month by city art galleries, and at the Matheson Museum with films and historic archives. Theatre performances are offered at the Gainesville Community Playhouse, the Acrosstown Repertory Theatre, the Civic Media Center, and the Hippodrome State Theatre.
